17th European Forest Pedagogics Congress 2023

The central venue of the 17th European Forest Pedagogics Congress is the JUFA Hotel in Königswinter near Bonn. It is about 20 to 30 minutes walk from the centre of Königswinter. For more information on the area and about all the sites that you can discover in the Siebengebirge, click here. 

The JUFA Hotel offers a choice of two- to four-bed rooms. We encourage participants to choose a room there so that the distance between the hotel and the venue is as short as possible. In the registration form, you have the possibility to tell us if you want to book a room in the JUFA Hotel Königswinter and with whom you would like to share a room. We will take care of the distribution of the rooms and try our best to consider wishes for occupancy. However, we cannot guarantee, that every request can be fulfilled. Payment will be made on site. 

If you want to book a single room, there is a contingent available at the Hotel Krone in Königswinter. You will also find a few other suggestions for guest houses situated in the town below.  From Königswinter, it takes about 30 minutes walk (uphill) to the venue.

Get-together

An optional get-together will take place on the evening before on 19 September 2023. Starting from the JUFA Hotel, we will take a walk up to the Drachenfels, to enjoy the splendid view over the Rhine. Then, on the way back to the hotel, we will stop for dinner in a restaurant.
